Screwball is a quaternity of frenetic, energetic, and poetic hard-core rappers from the world lodging projects of Queensbridge, NY, and go by the point names, Poet, Solo, KL, and Hostyle. They performed and recorded, severally and unitedly, end-to-end the late '80s with Poet appearing as half of the twosome PHD, and Solo and KL as Kamakazee. Their first spill under the pretext of Screwball was Set It, which was recorded in 1993 and produced by Poet. Screwball went on to make several guest appearances on resistance and independent recordings before cathartic their major-label debut, Y2K, in 1999. Loyalty appeared iI age by and by.
